I finished her and she’s leaving today. I get separation anxiety when my paintings go somewhere else to live. On the one hand, it frees up my brain and wall space so I can continue to create new things, on the other hand I miss my paintings because photos can’t do them justice.

So, I decided to use the time honored tradition of keeping photos of your loved ones all around your house. I frame a photo of my painting and hang it on the wall as a reminder.

Now that “Woman in Flames” is gone, I can finish “Venus 2005.”
