These things were every where! It was quite creepy… but from what I’ve read, this is a common Nephila clavipes, non-aggressive, but venomous.
And the wind was strongly blowing, so the webs were moving back and forth. It was disturbing to think that one of these critters might accidentally get stuck to me… (shiver).
That’s actually a black and yellow argiope from the Argiope aurantia, not what you have classified it as. While they are venomous, it’s rather harmless to humans.
